Katahdin Valley Health Center, with locations in Patten, Island Falls, Houlton, and Millinocket, is pleased to welcome Tori Thoreson, Certified Physician Assistant. Having grown up in a military family, Tori has lived all around the world from Florida to Germany to Arkansas.  Tori began her career in Health Care at a Community Health Center in Tennessee.  She worked in various aspects of health care throughout Kentucky and Tennessee and completed her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Harding University in Searcy AR.  Tori comes to KVHC most recently from the Arkansas Primary Care Clinic in Little Rock, Arkansas. She has a passion for community health care, saying that she feels it really makes a difference to the people in the surrounding area and makes healthcare more obtainable. Tori says “I am excited to be part of a clinical team that cares about the community they are a part of. ” Tori, her husband Tim and various pets are relocating to Maine in December and she will be joining the KVHC Team in early January 2012.
