Audie was born in Port Acres, Texas, [...]]]> Katahdin Valley Health Center, with locations in Patten, Millinocket, Houlton, and Island Falls, is pleased to welcome back Audie Horn, Jr., PA-C to the KVHC family. Audie previously provided healthcare for KVHC patients for over 9 years. He comes back to KVHC as our new Occupational Medicine Provider.

Audie was born in Port Acres, Texas, and raised in Orange, Texas. He received his Physician Assistant training at the University of Texas, and his Occupational and Environmental Health training at Duke University. Audie’s wife Sylva-Jo is currently employed as a Nursing Supervisor for Millinocket Regional Hospital.

In his free time, Audie enjoys hunting, fishing, and cruising on his Harley. He says of returning to KVHC, “I am coming home to where I belong.” Audie will be accepting new patients at our Houlton Occupational Medicine facility in May 2012.

Robert was born in Norwidge, Connecticut. He completed his bachelor’s degree in nursing at Central Connecticut State University, and his master’s in nursing at Southern [...]]]> Katahdin Valley Health Center, with locations in Patten, Island Falls, Houlton, and Millinocket, is pleased to welcome Robert Lemoine, Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Robert was born in Norwidge, Connecticut. He completed his bachelor’s degree in nursing at Central Connecticut State University, and his master’s in nursing at Southern Connecticut State University. Before coming to KVHC, Robert worked at Indian Health Services. He has been living in Fort Fairfield with his wife and seven children for five years.

Robert says, “KVHC offers me the opportunity to provide care in a family centered environment.” He is looking forward to the opportunity to take care of people from all walks of life, and getting to know their surroundings and families.

Tenielle, born in South Dakota and raised in North Dakota, went to college in Lincoln, Nebraska, and underwent clinical training in Nebraska, [...]]]> Katahdin Valley Health Center, with locations in Patten, Island Falls, Houlton, and Millinocket, is pleased to announce that Tenielle Holste, Certified Physician Assistant, will be joining the KVHC medical team in January 2012.

Tenielle, born in South Dakota and raised in North Dakota,  went to college in Lincoln, Nebraska, and underwent clinical training in Nebraska, South Dakota, and Tennessee. Before coming to KVHC, she and her husband lived in South Boston, Virginia, where she worked at Southern Virginia Orthopedics. They will be moving to Maine, and living in Millinocket.

Tenielle is an avid outdoorswoman, enjoying many outdoor hobbies such as cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, swimming, biking, and kayaking. She also enjoys hobbies such as knitting, cooking, scrapbooking, painting, and photography. She relishes the chance to move to the North and work with “people that are real.”

Tenielle looks forward to working at KVHC, and hopes to bring her patients the best care possible.

Having grown up in a military family, Tori has lived all around the world from Florida to Germany to Arkansas.  Tori began her career in Health Care at a Community Health Center in Tennessee.  She worked in various aspects of health care throughout Kentucky and Tennessee and completed her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Harding University in Searcy AR.  Tori comes to KVHC most recently from the Arkansas Primary Care Clinic in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She has a passion for community health care, saying that she feels it really makes a difference to the people in the surrounding area and makes healthcare more obtainable. Tori says “I am excited to be part of a clinical team that cares about the community they are a part of. ”

Tori, her husband Tim and various pets are relocating to Maine in December and she will be joining the KVHC Team in early January 2012.

Dr. LaMorgese was born and raised in Orange, New Jersey. He completed his clinical training at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey, and at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Patterson, New Jersey. Dr. LaMorgese was born and raised in Orange, New Jersey. He completed his clinical training at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey, and at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Patterson, New Jersey. He also attended a program at Colombia Presbytarian Hospital in New York, NY. Before coming to KVHC, Dr. LaMorgese worked for many years in a private practice in Passiac, New Jersey. He and his wife, Marilu, will be relocating from New City, NY.

Dr. LaMorgese has a passion for helping people and preventing disease. It’s what interests him the most about community health care, and what drove him to become a physician in the first place. In his spare time, he enjoys racing RC boats and other electronic pursuits.

Dr. LaMorgese will be accepting new patients at our Houlton and Patten facilities in January 2012.
